Wedding Album Templates

I offer square albums. Why square albums? 85% of the time you and I will photograph horizontally!

Things to consider when designing your album:

  1. Keep it simple! Chic modern designs never fail.  This was prescribed by the simple-minded director Kevin Swan of Kiss Wedding Books.
  2. Make each page unique. Give variance (and autonomy) to every page.
  3. Design it quickly! The faster your brides can relive their emotions, the more likely you will make a bigger sale.

If you open a square album, the two pages make a horizontal canvas for your pictures. Therefore, to do my pictures justice, I prefer square albums over the conventional vertical albums.

Many companies offer square shaped albums, but only one company to my knowledge offers nothing but square albums – Kiss Wedding Books sample images!

First Order Of Business

Please do not ever bombard your poor bride with 800+ online pictures to go through. Rather, first give them something that is beautifully designed and aesthetically pleasing [and already packaged].

Order of business for Furious Photographers:

  1. Week 1 – Flush mount album design (50+ pages) – Let the bride soak it in
  2. Week 2 – Online gallery | Discuss costs with bride
  3. Week 5 – Bind album and deliver – Kiss Wedding Books delivers on average of three weeks!

Do not deny it – I know that some of you still have clients from six months ago and they still have not picked out their pictures. Am I right? :)

Furthermore, I offer 20 pages of credit, but design 60 or so pages just in case. It will be easier to omit pages rather than to add pages. Just note that each added page is potential income for you! Read below.

Speed Is Quality!

The faster you get things to people, the happier they will be. It is common sense.

We are offering 20 pages (or 10 slides) for free, which is normally the minimum number for any album company. However, if you opt to get our entire collection (120 pages or 60 slides), it will greatly help our hosting costs (your average lunch money). With 120 pages to play with, every page will have a unique look!

Imagine the time you can save! We can design an entire album (50+ pages) usually within two hours. Since we sell each additional page for $100, that’s a potential income of

50 pages – 20 pages (credit) = 30 pages x $100 = $3,000 in two hours

Square Dimensions Perfect for Kiss Wedding Books

Just note that every slide is two pages. Enjoy this random compilation! Please be aware that these files are saved in PSD (Photoshop) files and require Photoshop to work on them. If you do not have Photoshop, get it! It will be an important tool to becoming a successful photographer.

You are amazingly awesome… I can’t wait to purchase some templates… you have just simplified my life by 2000x. I never understood the “templates” and would spend hours layering in the wrong order and whatnot…then using the marque and doing layer–>make new copy then deleting old layer omg.. you so helped me out i <3 you

great tutorial video, thanks so much for sharing things, very useful. Also makes sense about the square albums…especially when presented with beautiful layouts inside! :)

just to clarify… the first time you give any pictures back to your bride, they’re in a designed album format? i like that idea.
do you post the pages online or have them come in to view? does she have any design input prioir to putting the pages together?

Yes – I put all of the pictures online for the bride to soak it in. The first draft I use full creative license to design it how I envision it.

Love your templates! Thank you!!!!

Quick question though..I am beginniner when it comes to photoshop. Let’s say I want to make the template smaller than 12X12…how would I go about doing that?!

Thanks!!

Thanks SO much for posting these! I just started up my business (YAY!) and am figuring everything out.. The lab I use doesn’t have the best album templates – I want clean, modern! You are a lifesaver. Now, if I could only figure out the best ordering process…. haha

These templates are great!! Thank you. I just purchased the additional package today. I do have one question – is it possible to change the mask color from white to an alternate color or image? Thanks again. This is the best site!

I design my albums with Photoshop. Do you sell any templates as PSD files? I love your designs.

Kind regards,

I think if more photographers implement this style of marketing to brides there would be much less of a headache during the design process. I am sure it won’t appease every bride but as a designer I have spent more time rushing to get designs done to allow my photographer clients pass it along quickly to the bride so they can start the editing process and the ball slows down from there. I end up getting the job after the bride has already gotten antsy. The sooner I am involved designing the better….because then…we aren’t waiting on payment.
If you K *I*S*S (keep it simple) and QUICK I think everyone will see the advantage and we will all be more efficient while at the same time move on to the next client and so on…and this means increased earnings when you can spend less time closing out clients.
For Jean-Pierre who requested PSD files….that is the format I design.
