Many People Teach How To Get Referrals From Clients…
However, no one really teaches how to get the initial clients to get future referrals. I actually have a good number of effective ways of doing both. My primary source for new clients comes from organic search results from Google. Since I live in Southern California, I mainly target Los Angeles and Orange County brides.
Global search results (meaning not of specific locations like “Turnip Rose Wedding Photography“) are harder to target, but nevertheless doable. Some Southern California global search terms:
And the list goes on… This does not include localized locations where we are normally top results!
If you like finding Waldo, you can try to find my website – www.furiousphotographers.com – which should be within the top 10 results for these global terms. Obviously, if I can rank so high for global terms, I will rank even higher for local (more scrutinized) terms such as Turnip Rose Wedding Photography.
To understand how this all works, I will split the tutorials into many videos. The basic concept is easy – backward links – but there is so so so so so much more to it than just that. If you find these tutorials helpful, please spread the love and post it in a forum – cheers!
